Kinó-Pravda (Кино-Правда), the newsreel series launched in 1922 in Soviet Russia, directed by Dziga Vertov, Yelizaveta Svilova, and Mikhail Kaufman, added another episode to its collection. In this episode, the directors, through the lens of the camera, follow Laika not on her journey to orbit, but through the streets of Moscow, capturing the dog's interactions with the people, before she became a symbol of space exploration.
